Soilcrates - October 8th 2026 - Thurles Event

We were so pleased with the turn out from our Clare farmers at the Soilcrates Event in Thurles yesterday, wonderful to have so many of you in attendance - thank you all for making the journey.

The day was a great success, we heard some of the local farmers perspective presentations, had the Farmers Toolbox presentation & demonstration by TUS researchers, Nephin Renewable Gas gave an interesting talk on the use of digestate and the implications of upcoming RENURE legislation.

Green Belt did a presentation on the benefits of Agri-Forestry, and we finished with a Round Table discussion- those taking part were from local County Council, TUS, farmers, Brendan Molloy Project Manager from Sceene EIP, alongside other industry and government representatives.

A huge thank you to Soilcrates Ireland and TUS for hosting, wonderful to meet Cloughjordan and Ballyhoura representatives on the day.
